We went out of town!

Well here we are in level 2 with no cases today. Wonderful. Long may it continue.

We actually left Matamata yesterday and went to visit Eddie's sister in Cambridge. They are building a house there, so we went and checked out the section. It is very full of framing at the moment, so quite exciting for them. I think it is starting to be erected today.

I quite enjoyed going out and seeing somewhere different. Janice and I did a walk around the area. We went through the Lemington cemetery and down into a gully with a little stream in it. Lots of birds calling too, so it was quite a nice walk. Photos below.

Now the trees have no leaves at all

The weather is getting cooler. We haven't had a frost yet, but I don't think it will be far away. It was 4 degrees this morning at 6 am.

I have been working on the family of my Great Grandmother's aunt with 13 children. I am up to child number 7. Progress has slowed down a bit a I am back at work now.

Not a lot happens in level 3

It's a bit hard to keep up a blog when not a lot is happening, so sorry this is a bit boring.

We have had a good weekend with not a lot happening of course. It started to rain yesterday afternoon and is set to continue for a few days.

We put our awning up to give us a bit more shelter on the patio and shelter from the rain for the washing.

I have done 1000 ks on Harriet (my bike) since I bought her in September last year. Not bad for just going to and from work.

Eddie is finding the roads not quite so stressful with less traffic on them, but still doesn't want to be driving. We are hoping to back on the road as soon as some sort of normal is established.

We have a good thunder storm today. I just got home from work in time.
