Well here we are at the end of 2016. How did that happen?
Well here we are at the end of 2016. How did that happen?
Eddie is retiring in March
and we are going to set of in a 5th wheeler caravan with a
truck to pull it where ever the road takes us. We are busy downsizing
every thing at the moment and gaps are beginning to appear. The back
bedroom is turning into a place to put things we don't need until we
have a garage sale. Goodness knows when that will be. Trade me is
getting a lot of use for his fishing things. People we know have said
I'll have this or that so that has made it quite easy. Especially as
they don't mind waiting until we have finished with things. It is
quite a lesson in detachment I can tell you.

We have the truck half home now and Eddie has spent the day putting in a small bench and the bed settee so we can go on an over night trip without taking the 5th wheeler as well. It will be useful to check out a campsite or go on an over night trip in the vicinity we are staying in. For Christmas we got an e bike each. We won't have a car for the time being to see how we go, so a bike will be our transport for trips to the shops.
