The weather over the last 2 weeks has been lovely with only a little bit of rain. So much better than the summer was. The mornings are cool, but the days have been quite warm with a gentle breeze.
We are all braced for a busy Easter weekend. The weather forecaste is pretty good and we have an almost full camp.
To add to our excitement, the main door into the office wouldn’t unlock yesterday morning. Luckily there is another door. Louise had to get a locksmith in to open it. Otherwise all is normal.
We had a busy day yesterday. We went into Whakatane to get my haircut and the groceries. Then we whizzed into Edgecumbe and got our flu vaccines done and the petrol for the mower here at the camp. Back home to drop everything off; meat and veggies into the fridge and off again. Next stop was Rotoma for a quick lunch and then on to Rotorua to visit friends. We were going to see them today, but Frank was going to be busy with his job, so we had to alter plans quickly. We were quite tired when we got home and just had spaghetti on toast for tea. It was a nice visit as we haven’t seen them for quite a while. Sue was going to have to go and pick up the grandchildren and take them to soccer practice, but their mother was able to do it in the end, so we had a bit more time together.
