We have had a bit of trouble getting the COF for the 5th wheeler. it has an electrical magnetic system. We have put in bigger magnets, changed the linings and bleed the brakes of the dodge. On Saturday, we took the 5th wheeler to Eddie's work, to put it over the rollers they have there to check their trucks before they go for their COF's. We were almost good enough for a new COF but not quite. Sigh. It has always passed before, so we don't really know why it is failing now.
We are finishing our jobs on the 10th July and going to Papamoa on the 12th. Eddie is having his prostate out in Hamilton on the 16th July. I will be staying at a nearby motel, while he is in hospital. When he is released, I will take him back to Papamoa. The hospital has arranged for the district nurse to visit us in Papamoa and he is also able to get his catheter out at Tauranga hospital, so that will make it easier.
We have decided to get the brake system changed
while we are in Tauranga. We will stay in a cabin at the camping
ground while it is being done. We are going to come back to work
after Eddie has got over his op and work until Christmas so
that we have re balanced the bank again. If it did pass this time we
would be wondering for the next 6 months if it was going to go
through or not. Jim and Janice are happy to have us back here, so we
haven't out stayed our welcome so that's a nice thing. My boss
doesn't want me to go either and Eddie can go back to Swap's,
so I guess it will be all right in the end. If it's not all right,
it's not the end. We aren't happy though.
