It has been a very wet and windy day over the past few days. We have had a wind and rain warning in
place.
The seagulls were having trouble flying this morning. They were sort of swooping sideways to get to where
they wanted to go.
Eddie spent the day doing maintenance on the mowers on the wet days. The ride on one and also the one
that is used to mow the overflow paddock behind the tractor. The tractor has been at the repair shop for
about a month now. It finally came back on Monday.
Cleaning takes hardly any time at all at the moment. I haven't gardened due to the weather, so I have had
an almost retired days this week.
We are getting a new package for our wifi with Wireless Nation. It is bigger with more gigabytes and is
a bit cheaper. We also don’t have to pay for the month we are in Australia, so I think that is pretty good.
Companies don’t usually do things like that.
We went and had a swim at Awakeri on Tuesday evening. Louise’s man, Scott, was down from Auckland.
They decided to go and asked us to go too. It was a very wet night, but the water was lovely and it
wasn’t too cold when we got out, which was a pleasant surprise.
