Water leaks and Wasps.

We had a lovely days this week. The mornings are cool, but the days have been lovely.

Eddie found a water leak behind us on Sunday. Louise has been losing water over the last few weeks. She has found some, but knew there was a leak losing a swimming pool amount of water. The amount coming out was probably the one she has been looking for. It was draining out of the retaining wall behind us that holds up the road going to the motels and tourist flats.The pipe took water to the ablution block and the houses. The plumber came in the afternoon and got it sorted. Eddie and Mike had dug it out, but they didn’t have a joiner to do a temporary fix. Luckily it was sandy soil as it was a few feet down. Someone had put a lump of concrete into the hole. It was sitting on top of the pipe and eventually made a hole in it.

Louise gets charged by the council on how much water she uses, so leaks are not wanted.

I found a small wasp nest , on Tuesday, so I dealt to it with my spray and whenever I saw a wasp looking for its home, I sprayed it too.

Eddie's sister and her husband came to stay for a couple of nights in their little camper van. She made a lasagna for our tea on Wednesday night, which was great as I had been in the reception all day. I got quite a bit of knitting done and then realized I hadn’t been casting off for the sleeves, so I had to undo it all again. What a twit!!

On Thursday, the weather was absolutely beautiful. Eddie's cousin and some friends of his sister came to visit us. We were able to sit outside all day and soak up the rays. I got the knitting I had stuffed up redone, so that was productive.
